BY: ARIEL VERA
SYNTHESIS-
Will the Salar de Uyuni become the new Cerro Rico de Potosi?
This work shows a representation of the painting "La Virgen del Cerro" located in the National Mint of Bolivia.
Where at the foot of the hill recreated in salt, a city has been generated that lives and works in parallel between the exploitation of sustainable lithium and the cultivation of quinoa, a place that is guardian of its resources and its nature, with houses, cholets and equipment built with salt blocks, covered in wood and straw.
