SYNTHESIS-

The aim is to explore how architecture and urbanism are approached in the city of Tarija, a city that is currently very expanded and in need of greater densification, but with totally unregulated constructions, the automobile as the protagonist of the city, invading everything it can, scattered green areas reduced to ornamental spaces, public works of great magnitude and cost but totally disconnected from the city and a great void; the need for adequate and inclusive public places for meeting, exchange and social interaction.
 

ABOUT JOSIP BACOTICH-

Independent architect from Tarija with 15 years of experience, distinguished university student with honors, works mainly in design projects, refurbishment, and construction supervision.
Collaborator of the Colegio de Arquitectos de Tarija, was an activist member of "Los Amigos de La Ciudad de Tarija" and current member of the Instituto Boliviano De Urbanis
